MAS in Social Informatics
Media competence is the key to our modern communication society. Anyone, who is unable to use the full functionalities of information and communication technologies, is to a certain degree excluded from society and social life. On the other hand, new media can significantly improve opportunities to get involved. Information technology and new media as such also play an important role in the social service sector, health care and education. The Master of Advanced Studies in Social Informatics course addresses the effects that information and communication technologies have on society and develop solutions where needed, creating a forward-thinking interface between the individual and technology.
